There is nothing quite like those first few weeks of your precious baby's life. It tears me up just thinking about my babies at that age.

They will never be as small, delicate, and new as they are in those first few weeks and the moment passes all too quickly.

My style is natural and simplistic, meaning that the neutral tones help focus purely on your baby's beauty.

I like to do baby-led / natural posing and minimal wrapping. As a mother, I feel this style helps capture the memories and feelings of how they are naturally with all their precious tiny details.

Newborn sessions are best done in the first 2 weeks of babies life to capture the true perfection of the newborn state.

I only book in a select number of newborn shoots a month to allow for flexibility. I recommend booking your newborn shoot from your 20-weeks scan. I will book in the session using your due date and once the baby has arrived we can schedule the session for around 2 weeks after the birth.

As well as being a maternity and newborn photographer I am also a mother to a baby and toddler I understand all too well how these first few weeks can be for the mother as well as the baby.

So all my sessions are calm, relaxed and baby-led as well as taking the lead with the mother's needs and instincts.

To book your session a £99 deposit is required, and the remaining balance is due the day prior to your session.

All my Newborn photography sessions are scheduled for either a Monday & Friday Morning.

I offer extremely limited weekend sessions (1-2 a month) which get booked up FAST!

Sessions outside of these times can be arranged upon request, including additional weekends, for a fee of £75.

Around 2-3 weeks after your session your will receive your online proofing gallery of around 30+ images, at this time you will then choose which images you would like to include within your package. Or upgrade to a higher package if you wish.

FAQ

When Is The Best Time To Book?

Newborn sessions are best booked after your 20 week scan. This guarantees you a space in my diary for when your baby is born. My diary does fill up months in advance so it is important to book in prior to your babies arrival. If your baby has arrived already, please still get in touch, I often have last minute availability due to early or late arrivals.

How Can I Book When I Don't Know When My Baby Will Arrive.

Not to worry, when you book you are simply securing a slot in my diary. I always allow plenty of wiggle room for early/late arrivals. All I ask is you to let me know when your baby arrives, and then we will confirm a day for your session.

My Baby Has Already Been Born, Am I Too Late To Book?

Not at all! Even though I get booked up in advance I do sometimes have extra days free when a pre-booked baby has arrived earlier or later than expected. Please do still get in touch, I will always try my best.

Can I Purchase More Images?

Of course! Additional digital images are £9.95 each or you can upgrade to a full gallery of images for an additional £200.

Where Are You Based?

Isla Elodie Photography is based in Harlow, Essex. I work from my cosy intimate home studio. I am situated on the Essex & Hertfordshire border, less than a 5-minute drive from the M11. I cater to clients based in surrounding areas such as Chelmsford, Enfield, Hertford, Colchester, Braintree, and Loughton.

When Can Expect My Images?

Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session you will receive and online viewing gallery of 30-40 images where you can make your final selection as part of your package (including upgrades and add-ons). You will then be provided the images in high-quality files for digital download.
