I recommend booking the session 2-3 weeks in advance of their 1st birthday if you wish to have the photos in time for the big day, but of course, you can do it any time you please.
I procure my cakes with an amazing local cake baker which look amazing for photos and taste AMAZING and of course, you are welcome to take the remainder home after the session.
Please let me know if your baby has any dietary requirements (I am a CMPA mum myself) or alternatively we can do a very special 1st birthday shoot without the cake.
This is now one of my favourite sessions to do as it’s so much fun!

To book your session a £99 deposit is required, and the remaining balance is due the day prior to your session.
All my Cake Smash photography sessions are scheduled for either a Monday or Friday.
I offer extremely limited weekend sessions (1-2 a month) which get booked up FAST!
Sessions outside of these times can be arranged upon request, including additional weekends, for a fee of £75.
Around 2-3 weeks after your session your will receive your online proofing gallery of around 30+ images, at this time you will then choose which images you would like to include within your package. Or upgrade to a higher package if you wish.

FAQ
When Is The Best Time To Book?
Around 2-3 weeks before their birthday is advised. This will allow enough time to do the session, view the gallery and then the final editing process. Of course you can book at any time before or after.
How Long Will The Session Take?
My cake smash sessions are around 2 hour long.
Can siblings attend the sesison?
I ask that only parents attend the session. This session is solely focused on the baby and their birthday shoot. There is a lot to fit into the session and less distractions the better. Also siblings may want to join in and also smash cake/taste it etc and it isn't fair to tell them 'your not allowed' while the baby is.
What should my baby wear for the shoot?
I don't like to enforce what you should or shouldn’t wear but ultimately what you/your babies does wear could make or break your images. If you would like the photos to be aesthetically pleasing and fit my overall style, I advise clients to stick to very simple and neutral clothing with whites/beige/tan/brown/etc all working well. I do have several outfits that can be used for the session.
Where will the session take place?
I offer cake smash sessions at my home studio in Harlow, Essex.
When Can Expect My Images?
Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session you will receive an online viewing gallery of 30-40 images where you can make your final selection as part of your package (including upgrades and add-ons). You will then be provided the images in high-quality files for digital download.
Additional digital images can be purchased and are £9.95 each or you can upgrade to a full gallery of images for an additional £200.
